About Me

Hi Everyone!
My name is Audrey. I'm 20 years old, and I live in lovely Houston, Texas. I've finally decided to start a blog because my dog ate me journal (lol). Anyway, here's a few things you should know about me: I LOVE animals (which is probably why I have so many), I'm obsessed with the color purple, I love making things, I love going thrifting and antique shopping, I love reading, I love music and have been playing viola for a very long time now, I also love Texas, and of course I love my family (even though they dont always make it easy).

In this blog I want to share with you guys all the things that I love and the things that inspire me. I sew, knit, crochet, paint, attempt to draw, and so much more. My creative-ness brings so much joy to my life and it would make me so happy to spred that joy to others! :)

My Little Monsters- My four-legged children
My dog, Lily, is the best companion I could of asked for. She is a great dane mix, and about a year and a half old now. She has this wonderful knack for getting into things that I need and tearing them up (like my journal or my glasses for example). She also loves sleeping under the covers on my bed at night. She hasnt been the easiest first dog to own, but I couldn't imagine my life without her.
My Kittens: Well long story short I ended up with 3 male kittens that are all brothers. They are about 9 weeks old now. They are mischievous, full of energy, and get into everything (and I mean everything!). Ferdinand is my little adventurer, just the other day I found him on top of my dresser! Then there are the twins, Remus and Romulus. All of my little monsters definitely keep my life interesting thats for sure!

(in this picture it shows all four kittens. I was able to find a home for the little girl in the litter)

My Parents
My mom is my role model and one of the biggest inspirations in my life. She is one of the craftiest people that I know. She has taught me so much! Whenever she sees something she likes she says, "I can make that." And thats one of the best things that she has taught me. She always has a multitude of projects going on at once (which must be where I got that from). She is the glue that keeps my family together and she is one of the most amazing women ever!

Then there is my dad the handy man. He is a military man (which should tell you a lot about his personality). He loves hunting and woodworking. He is a HUGE dog lover (which is a trait that he has passed on to me). He is the person who taught me my love of music. He had been an orchestra teacher for as long as I can remember and he plays the most beautiful music on his cello. He loves being a teacher but unfortunately due to injuries he acquired in the military and his failing health he cant teach anymore. He is a great musician and a great dad, and I wouldnt be the musician I am today without him
(I will add a picture of him as soon as I get one, hes not much of a picture person)

Well I hope you enjoy reading my blog! :)

Xoxo Audrey
