What I did on my day off today

Well this is my first official blog post (yipee!!). Anyway, how I enjoy spending my days off from work is to either make things or to check out local events that Houston has to offer that day. What do you like to do on your days off? Today I decided to make a 3 strand beaded bracelet.
What you'll need to get started:
  • I picked out 4 different types of beads in a blue and green color theme.
  • For "string" I used 3 strand hemp cord, I seperated the cord into the 3 strands (otherwise it was to thick to thread the beads onto it). If you dont want to use cord then I suggest fishing line, both options are easier then wire.
  • You will also need something for a clasp, I used a 3 loop metal clasp with a lobster clasp attached to it

Next tie one strand to each loop and start beading
I didnt take a picture of this part because there is no right or wrong way of doing this part, its all up to you  and your personal prefrence. With my bracelet I made the top and bottom strand with the same beads and pattern, and the middle strand was an accent strand.

The Finished Project:

Ta-da!

Enjoy! If you have any questions on how I made this feel free to ask!
